K-Guard® Gutter Guard
Most other gutter systems available on the market only have one component whether it be a mesh, hood, topper, etc., while K-Guard® Gutter Guard is a complete system that includes many parts that work together to keep leaves, twigs, and other debris out of the gutter system. Curved Hood

A major part of the K-Guard® Leaf Free Gutter System that sets us apart from the rest is our curved hood. It allows rain, meltwater, and all other forms of precipitation to flow from the roof and into the gutter. The curved design of the hood enables leaves and other debris to slide off of the gutter system and eliminates debris from entering the gutter through a narrow opening. Since only water adheres to our curved hood and enters the gutter system there is nowhere for debris, leaves, and pests to enter the system, thus, it’ll never become clogged.

K-Guard® Gutter Guard gutters are bigger than traditional open-top gutters and allow for more water to move through the system. Living in a climate that has a very active winter with high snow accumulations, it’s important to have a gutter system that allows for large amounts of meltwater to move through. Our 5-inch gutters allow for more water to flow through the system which helps keep your roof drier.
Downspouts

Like our gutters, the K-Guard® Leaf Free Gutter System has larger downspouts compared to other gutter systems. Our downspouts can handle a minimum of 23 inches of rain per hour! Open-top gutter systems and other “complete” systems are too small to handle heavy precipitation.
Our clog-free gutter system also has 45-degree by 45-degree inside corners that eliminate what we call “choke points” (an area inside the downspout that often accumulates debris). Because our large downspouts allow for more precipitation to be pushed through the system at a faster rate, your home stays better protected against flooding and moisture retention.

Homes that don’t have a high-functioning gutter system installed can experience all types of damage such as leaks, damage to shingles, rotting fascia boards, flooding, etc. Unfortunately, when a home retains moisture due to an inadequate gutter system, damage will occur. Luckily, the K-Guard® Gutter System protects your home by allowing water to enter the gutter system in different ways so water doesn’t sit and collect on your roof over time.
When our gutter system is installed it’s mounted above the floodplain which eliminates the potential for the gutters to separate from your home’s soffit and fascia boards. Most gutter systems are installed by mounting them to the fascia and sometimes even to the roof which can cause damage like sagging and separation.
